Yesterday, I wrote a blog post concerning Campbell Brown from CNN and her defending the amount of money that was spent on the outfitting of a certain Vice Presidential candidate and her family. Campbell Brown believes that the media and nation were outraged because the candidate is a female and we were thinking in a sexist way.
Again, let me reiterate, I like Campbell Brown and I have followed her through the years. However, I disagreed with her stance because I believe that anyone who spends that kind of money on clothing for any reason in that amount of time is wasteful. It has nothing to do with gender. Technically, some of the money was spent on her husband anyway.
Apparently, a visitor to my blog didn’t like what I had to say and let me know about it via a comment. The reader threatened me and everyone in Illinois for electing Barak Obama and other Dems from our state. Obviously, the person was not the most stable.
This person left the comment as “anonymous”. That is, they were not willing to stand behind what they were saying for whatever reason.
Not everyone is going to think 100% like you do or agree 100% with you on everything.
This is a fact of life. Most of us have learned how to deal with it and move on.
I feel sorry for someone who has become so passionate about something that they would make threats on blogs anonymously. Does this person think this is what Sarah Palin would want them to do? I doubt it.
I have since deleted the comment and altered the ability to comment on my blog. That is my right as the blog owner. I will now move on.
If you don’t like what I have to write, move on.
