In yet another sad attempt to sustain her name in the news so that we may remember her greatness in four years when she makes an attempt to steal Pres. Obama’s job, Sarah Palin is at it again.
It was just a week ago when Palin bashed coverage by an Alaskan newspaper by saying they were “bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie.”
“You need to know that both Levi and Bristol are working their butts off,” Palin told the magazine in an animated voice-mail message.
Did you think she isn’t working?
Bloomberg is reporting that the Diva/Gov r Sarah Palin is defending her great state from the the dreaded , no not lockness monster, beluga whale. She says her state intends to sue the federal government for listing beluga whales in Cook Inlet as an endangered species. Egad.
“The state of Alaska has worked cooperatively with the federal government to protect and conserve the beluga whales,” Palin said today in a statement. “This listing decision didn’t take those efforts into account as required by law.”
I’m thinkin’ she’s in a huntin’ mood again.
Palin on Russia and Credible News Sources
“You have to let it go. Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go.”
Palin on Alaska vs. New York
“I would think we all tear up during the national anthem at the beginning of a baseball game, don’t we? That’s an alikeness between Alaskans and New Yorkers.”
Palin on the Campaign in Hindsight
“If I were giving advice to myself back on the day my candidacy was announced, I’d say, Tell the campaign that you’ll be callin’ some of the shots. Don’t just assume that they know you well enough to make all your decisions for ya. Let them know that you’re the CEO of a state, you’re forty-four years old, you’ve got a lot of great life experience that can be put to good use as a candidate.”
All I can say is, be a role model this time and know when to fade into the sunset. We may forget your words more easily that way. Oh, btw, what charity got that $200,00 wordrobe?
