When I grow up, I want to get funded to do a study on the obvious. Then I want to get all kinds of publicity and fame for doing it. Kind of like this one.
They needed “a study” to find that even adolescents with milder behavioral problems had poor outcomes in adulthood?
Teachers assessed the study participants at age 13 and 15, comparing them with their peers with respect to a number of behaviors. Problematic behaviors included disobedience, lying, lack of punctuality, restlessness, truancy, daydreaming in class and poor response to discipline.
The authors were surprised that even adolescents with milder behavioral problems had poor outcomes in adulthood. These results do not necessarily mean that adolescent behavioral problems cause complications later in life, experts say.
I want to do a study about the waste of money spent on stupid things as opposed to spending it on things such as education, mentoring and work training.
