I know that my readers are smart people. After all, they are all here visiting my site.
So, Let’s play a little game of guess who. Here is a tip- these are all people that I have posted about in the past and they are also in the news.
1.) Guess who says that her ‘engagement’ to a guy old enough to be her father and also the husband of a mysteriously missing wife, number four, says that it was a hoax?
Theyoung mother of two/waitress who had been living with a former police officer, Drew Peterson says that she moved out when she came to her senses.
Christina Raines has moved out of Drew Peterson’s house and denies they were ever engaged.
“We were never engaged,” said Christina Raines, 24, during an appearance Monday on “The Early Show” on CBS. Raines told CBS that she decided not to go along with Drew Peterson’s “staged” engagement, which she said was a publicity “stunt” so the former police sergeant from Bolingbrook, Illinois, “could be in the media.” What? Drew Peterson- a media whore????
PS. Stacy Peterson, aka wife #4, has been mysteriously missing since October 28, 2007.
Drew Peterson is considered a suspect in the disappearance of the 23-year-old wife. Police are treating the case as a homicide. Naturally, he denies any wrongdoing and insists that his wife left him for another man.
2. Guess which mom of 14 has hired a publicist.
The mother of the the recently born Octuplets has hired a publicist. Why? Because of all of the book offers coming in. Dang. Lucky.
Some of the deals and requests for interviews involve offers to pay, according to her publicist.
“Right now her top priority is to be the best mom she can be to all her children,” she said. “She’s hired us to manage all of those opportunities.”
And to think that some of us were concerned about how she was going to pay for the food to feed the 14 kids all under 10.
3. Guess who hasn’t lost any endorsements as of yet, despite his bong photo seen around the world?
Michael Phelps has not been fired from apparel company Speedo, Swiss watchmaker Omega, and other sponsors as they say they are standing by the 23-year-old youthful thinker.
Other big companies, like Visa Inc., Subway and Kellogg Co., aren’t talking yet.
Maybe the rest of us were wrong.
4. Guess who is unemployed at the moment but, still has the funds to make appearances on nationwide TV.
Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has been making the round on TV to lash out at lawmakers who booted him from office, calling his removal a “hijacking.”
In case you missed it, the Illinois Senate unanimously convicted him on of abuse of power, making him the first U.S. governor in more than 20 years to be removed by impeachment.
“I view what happened on Thursday as a hijacking by a legislature that removed a governor and prevented that governor from proving his innocence by denying me the right to bring witnesses in,” Blagojevich said on NBC’s “Today” show.”It was an unlawful and improper impeachment. So I don’t view myself at all as being shamed or disgraced,” he said. “They did a disservice to the people of Illinois.”
You can watch Blago on CNN’s “Larry King Live,” Fox’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” and CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman.”
5. Guess who this is. No, it’s not me.
Does she look fat to you?
Some say yep.
