In Fla., a woman was sitting at her desk at work when she decided to check the security camera that she installed in her home. Smart idea because there were burglers in here home. She picked up the phone and called 911.
“I’m watching my home on live monitor, and there is a black man in my house, and he is robbing it,” she told the dispatcher. “I’m in Fort Lauderdale, at my work.”
The thieves were nabbed after police greeted them as they were leaving. They did get away with a package of shredded cheese they enjoyed while in the house.
Did you hear about the Dunkin Donut Robber who came back to return the money and get a hug?
An almost adorable teenage gunman returned to the Dunkin’ Donuts he had robbed a day earlier and gave back the $167 he stole — then wrote a note apologizing for the holdup, police said. A surveillance camera inside the Dunkin’ Donuts caught the teenager stealing the money from the cash register. He returned the money the next day and asked to hug the clerk to show there were no hard feelings. In a twisted way, he was sweet.
And in Maine….
A thief stole a 66-year-old bicycle that belonged to an 83-year-old woman. She got the blue Huffy bicycle as a gift when she was a teenager in 1943. Who saves this stuff? The bike was stolen after she left it unlocked Saturday during a visit to a nursing home.
