This is a no-brainer introduction as far as I’m concerned.
Who doesn’t know “A Nut in a Nut Shell”?
I can tell you this, she took about a month off earlier in the summer and the blogosphere went bananas!
Thank goodness she came back before the entire blogging world came to an end.
I’m blueviolet, and my blog is A Nut in a Nutshell. I started blogging in October 2008. I began with writing about my family, my life, observations, and anecdotes, and I have expanded into reviews and giveaways as well.
I am a married mom of 2 college-aged children and I love to find fun and laughter in everyday moments. I have a quirky sense of humor which makes blogging a pure delight, no matter what I’m writing about.
Here is a post from her site that netted over 80 comments!
AUGUST 13, 2009
Good times, youthful times, drunken times, pre-children times.
The most spontaneous thing I ever did happened when we lived in New Jersey, right after we got married. I was working at Eastern Airlines, and we often took advantage of the fact that we could fly for free on stand-by.
One day my husband and I had two days off in a row together, so when we woke up that morning, we decided to go to West Palm Beach. We packed our suitcases and drove 45 minutes to Newark airport. We waited through a couple of flights, but everything was overbooked and we couldn’t get on.
I turned to my husband and said, “Let’s move back to Chicago.” He answered, “Ok.”
So we drove 45 minutes back home, repacked our suitcases, drove 45 minutes back to the airport, flew to Chicago, searched for apartments, found one, signed a lease, flew back to New Jersey, quit our jobs, packed a U-Haul, and drove across the country to our new home.
No wonder I gave it up.
