One of the first bloggers that I became friends with was Veronica. She live on the other side of the world and I fell like I know her well. Like me, she’s a boomer. She also has 2 kids.
A baby-boomer and homemaker from sunny Malaysia, I’m the proud mother of 2 very active boys. I love John Steinbeck, ramen and am terrified of mice, hence the blog title! I find blogging therapeutic; it allows me to express my thoughts (no matter how dark or silly) and connect with bloggers across the world. My blog is about anything under the sun (G-rated stuff!) – random thoughts, muses, gripes, favourite movies, recipes, handy housekeeping tips, etc . A dabbler of sorts, my latest obsession is participating in paid surveys. Do visit my other blog at http://surveyscroll.blogspot.com/
Welcome to my world!
I spent 11 years ( from Primary 1 to Secondary 6) of my education in a convent school. The Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus was founded in 1907 by a French missionary sister, Mother St. Anatoli.
The convent was the alma mater to my mom, sisters and all my cousins
My great grandfather (the first of our clan to migrate to Malaysia) was one of the benefactors of the missionary school.
That’s actress Michelle Yeoh (of Memoirs of A Geisha, Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon fame) on the right. We were classmates from Year 1 to Year 6.
These pics were taken from my year book.

Class of 1978. I was seated on the right of the teacher.
I was the head photographer for the editorial board of our year book. I’m the one seated on the extreme left.
Sports Day. I was in the Green house.
The cast of our high school musical – Copacabana. The girl in red was ‘Lola’ with ‘Rico’ on her right and ‘Tony’ on her left. I was the ‘cocktail waitress’ in front of ‘Lola’. None of us made it to Hollywood!!
