Over the past century or so, governments have tasted Communism and have left it. Communism is a form of government in which the government owns all of the businesses. At one time it worked because what was going on before Communism – such as Russian Czars- was even worse. But in comparison to a free economy, such as in the US, Communism does not work. The little guy needs incentive to feel important and that is what makes an economy work.
Cuba is one of the long hold outs of Communism.
Cuba has a serious problem, in my opinion, as a result.
A TP shortage.
The shipment will enable the state-run company “to supply this demand that today is presenting problems,” he said.
The Cuban government says they will lower thr price of other items to make up for the lack of TP. Huh?
And of corse it’s not Cuba and Communisms fault. Cuba blames the 47-year-old U.S. trade embargo for their woes.
