Since the revolution of moms that began in the 1970’s when moms decided they too can hold down a job, the discussion has been there. What is better- being a working mom or a stay at home mom? The grass is always going to be greener and the guilt of either not being with your kids or not helping out financially will always be there.
Aaccording to the study by the Pew Research Center. 85% of mothers with jobs say they’re “very happy” or “pretty happy” versus 80% of stay-at-home moms.
Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics show that 66 percent of women with children age 17 or younger work either full or part time. Among those mothers, nearly three-quarters work full time.
