I love the comment on scotch tape. I can remember so many times of asking my parents where to find things after barely trying to find it myself. My mom would usually know where to look, and my dad’s response was always, ” I don’t know, it wasn’t my turn to watch it.”

As for the vacuum, I like to use things as long as I can. I’d say if it was working fine for you, order the new cord online, and find an electrical savvy friend who can install it. I can’t believe putting a new cord on a vacuum would coast $50, unless they are charging $40 for labor.

I love you TT entry. It makes me smile thinking how my 4 yrs old will answer the same quesiton.

Re toyota:My FIL owned an Avalon and they got into an accident on the way home from their vacation in South Dakota a year ago, now he’s driving Chevy.
