For the question of Aloha, my answer is: I can define a good family life if the bond is strong to which the family are there for each other through thick and thin much more if the family has a house, education is attainable, good food and clothing and especially are into God's service. For me a good family life is about balance and always understanding that no matter what we are going through, it will pass and choose carefully how you wish to react because regret can be downright depressing.

Our family life could be better but we are working on it constantly.

What great advice! I know in today’s world it can be very hectic but family should always come first. My hubby works some crazy hours and a lot of overtime but I try to squeeze in family time because I want my boys to grow up and remember those times and instill good family values.

I recommend heeding the warning…stay away from toxic family members. We have one in particular that sucks the life out of us and this has affected our marriage. But when we minimized our contact with them, and when both of us realized this person is in fact toxic, things have improved. Related to this, we recognize that the 4 of us are family and what is best for the 4 of us (i.e. not what extended family wants) is what will lead us to a happy family life.

To me a good family life is simply a family that loves each other. In the end the only thing that you will remember and your children will remember is that everyone was loved!
