We are finally getting a taste of spring here in the Midwest. The only snow visible are remnants from former mounds. It’s sunny and 45, which to us is like 60 which is almost 70. We all deserve spring!

So what have I been reading online you ask?

See- told ya so! We’re overweight due to a scientific reason! Bacteria…..

Scientists at Emory University say that intestines can harbor a bacteria ‘the gut microbiota’, that may play an important role in whether your body will store the food you eat as extra pounds. The scientists say that lab mice lacking a certain protein had more of the bugs than other animals and were about 15% heavier. These mice also had a higher level of inflammation.

“Our results suggest that the tendency to eat more may not only be driven by the fact that food is cheaper and more available, but by a change in the bacteria in the intestines,” he says. “People may be eating too much because their appetite is stronger due to a low-grade inflammation they have, which could be due to changes in their gut bacteria relative to what their grandparents or someone else might have had 50 years ago.”

Being a hospital nurse. The kind that uses their college degree to wipe adult butts and make beds.

Get paid to do memes on a daily basis.

childbirth

Having to bury my mother.

8. Do you tend to exaggerate or underestimate?

Depends on what I guess…probably underestimate since I’m a female

Buick Century- first car, got into a wreck and I sold it.
Datsun 210- Bare minimum cheap car, no a/c etc. Hubby crashed it. thanks dear.
Dodge Omni- What a piece of crap!
I forgot what came next…
A couple of Dodge Minivans- lots of room, dvd players and most importantly …paid off!
Toyota Avalon too. Nice car without the troubles in the news..yet.
