I’m sorry I didn’t know your Dad passed, my deepest condolences. I lost my mother a year ago April and know how hard this is. Something I did, and am still doing that has been very cathartic is write memories about her. On my personal blog I periodically write a memory. I decided to write it alphabetically. And so am working my way through the alphabet thinking of things that start with that letter. It’s been fun, it makes me smile and I know she would like that I’m focusing on the positive and the funny and not the sad. I’m actually up to Q. My dad is a career law enforcement officer and I don’t have any brothers, but he did not bat an eye raising two girls. He taught us that we can do anything that a man can (and often better ) and that lesson has served me well.

Have to say having a good work ethic and working hard. He owned his own business and would be up every morning at 5am and sometimes not getting home til 10pm. Unfortunately, I only had him for 16 years. My AF question is here . CMash

How to be a good wife. You might think that as strange...however he was such a good husband that I learn how to treat mine. Watching him interacted with my Mother was great. I didn't realizes til years gone by that was what a child does. After Moms death I learned even more from him. How much he Loved her and Cared for her.
