WHAT’S WITH THE CAPTCHA?!

I know…I’ve confused a few people around here last week when I installed captcha on my site. After all, I am always dissing on the Blogger word verification. Actually, what I hate about blogger commenting is when you have to resign in and when the captcha doesn’t show up until the page refreshes (comments under post option). But, I digress…

I had ban on my site but, guess what. Ban got infiltrated by spam. So, I had to manually delete it from my file manager.   I installed the captcha to combat those bozo’s. The funny thing is that once I installed the captcha, the spam stopped. What a pain I know- especially for the nice people entering my contests. But, it could be worse- it could be blogger page refreshing.

HOORAY for coupon codes!!

I needed some new running shoes. So, I visited my local Nike outlet (20 minutes away!) and they were giving nothing away. Except of course…headaches from those stupid basketballs that every Nike outlet in America has on hand for annoying children to bounce around the store (trust me on this one…I’ve been to MANY Nike stores). Again, I digress.

SO, I went online to Kohl’s.com.
Nope…not getting anything in return besides the huge smile on my face, for this post.
Kohls was having the extra 15%, 20% and 30% sale. And, free shipping if you enter the lucky code. That’s like $10-$15 bucks right there.

So, I placed my order for 2 pairs of Nike running shoes (on sale), a pair of  TEK  running  shorts and a pair of Nike pants. Total was around $170. Then I put in the code for free shipping. and it went down to $155. Then I put in the code for the %15 off ($23.25). We are at $131 now.  Then, I went to this site and got another coupon code for an additional 30% off! That’s $39.53 So….my $170 purchase cost me $91.47! 2 pairs of running shoes, a pair of running shorts and a pair of pants! HA!

The moral of the story is always do an online search for coupon codes! You never know what you’ll find!

Runs for the border.

5. Mel is invited by the Taliban to appear in a video.
What does Mel do?
Asks what the heck a Taliban is.

6. Mel finds out that his birth parents are Latino and Jewish.
What does Mel do?
Jumps off of a cliff.

7. Mel finds out that he is the real father to Chaz Bono.
What now Mel? Either freaks that he slept with Cher or freaks about Chaz.

8. Lindsey Lohan calls Mel up for advice.
What does Mel tell her?
Don’t get pulled over in LA.

9. Mel gets pulled over yet again for DUI. This time he goes to jail and is put into a cell with Bubba, who is also the new boy friend of his former girlfriend.
What advice do you have for Mel?
Soap on a rope.

10.  Mel wants to start a blog. What should Mel blog about and what should he name the blog?
