Ooooh Harriet, those are some really endangered creatures. I actually almost thought if I kept reading I might see a punch line. but this time you were shooting straight. did you see the snake which exploded in the everglades last week ? it ate a gator and couldn’t expand wide enough to digest it. reallllly snake like, (winky*wink)

Thankfully, I haven’t seen a Florida Panther up close, but I’ve seen a couple of the others in these parts.
Happy WW!
The are beautiful :O) it’s a shame to know there are animals in danger of becoming extinct. Thanks for linking up and happy WW :O)
Very cool shots. Like the wolf ones and I’m not just saying that because I have an unhealthy attachment to Twilight:)!

The Grey wolf is beautiful as is the owl. I could probably do without the bat, though. Great pictures.

They are gorgeous! We have seen red and gray wolves at a local Living Museum. I just love owls. I hear them often but have never been lucky enough to spot one nearby.

Animal extinction is something I am passionate about stopping. I haven’t seen any of those animals lately but I do donate to several animal welfare causes.

I took a photo of a Northern Spotted Owl last week! I didn’t know they were endangered…. It flew right over me and perched in a nearby tree. Pretty cool!

I think I saw a red fox on our last trip to AK. I can’t remember which state we were in.
But rarely if ever do I get to see these things live with my own eyes.
Aloha!

it’s a shame when an animal group is depleted. it’s good that at times that something is done to protect them.

Wow, you really saw all of these & were lucky enough to photograph them! We used to have a red fox I would see quite often, but I think he may of been a casualty a long time ago
we also have had local ( like a just down the road a few houses) of cougars, which they keep saying are not in WI. But too many farmers have seen him.

I think my post got gobbled up in cyber space… I love all of these. We have had sightings of cougars locally ( right down the road) even tho the authorities keep saying they are not in WI. but many farmers have seen them.

I have actually never seen any of these. But I do have a fondness for wolves and would love to see them in the wild.
Those animals are beautiful and that is devastating. With the mess these companies are causing the world, it’s only going to get worse.
I haven’t seen any. I love the photos.
