Here’s a shout-out! Thank you peeps!

Thank goodness for friends.

I’ve recently made some new friends who I want to give a shout-out to.

First off, there are a couple of people who never fail to comment me even when I don’t always have the time to reciprocate. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Then there is Re .

She is this amazing woman who has done more in her lifetime than we could even imagine doing. Re stops by all the time and leaves me wonderful notes of encouragement.

Check out this video that she had posted on her site. This video is of an Italian crafter/artist making her own version using a recycled bicycle tire. that makes it totally green.

Re has a neat post on her site showing you how to make sandals.

Lastly, Not to keep blabbing about my amazing trip to Boston to the Mecca also known as TJMaxx HQ, but, I made a new friend (besides the buyer for the women’s wear who gets me the yoga clothes- woot woot!).

Meet Ms. Lillian Pucci. She runs a little site called http://www.firstclassfashionista.com. By little I mean, she gets more hits in a day than most of us get in a blog’s lifetime! This poor lady tore a ligament while kick boxing (her cute hubby says we should see the other guy).

I would love to thank her for her wonderful insights and for being an inspiration for my new site, posh on a budget.

While in Boston, Ms. Lillian was on crutches at TJMecca (who didn’t see that one coming). Of course, I adopted her as my new bud.
She had a flip camera and made this video which she claims, I am in.
(I’m the young one who looks like Angelina Jolie).

Saturday 9: Welcome Back

1. Where were you the last time that someone welcomed you back?
About an hour ago when I came home from a lunch date. I got slobbered to death by the canine beasts.

2. Tell us who is you favorite non-family member to hang out with?
Bud and all his antics.

3. What was the last thing that happened to anger you?
Sibling BS (sending me an email “I’M NOT MAKING DRAMA!!!!”. You just can’t respond to that).
4. What was the last thing that you saw that was shocking to see?

5. What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday besides Saturday 9?
Margaritas- hello! I use to mow the lawn but, freeloader #1 took out the lawnmower with his car….like 3 times.

6. Have you had your summer vacation yet? If yes tell us about it.
Seriously, every trip I’ve taken has either been on business or because of a death in my family. Ask somebody else.
7. Pick out one of your cousins and tell us about them.
Ironically, I don’t really have any. I can make one up. Cindy Crawford is my cousin which is why we look so much alike!
8. Do you have any special plans for next week?
Prepare for the next week.
9. At what age will you consider yourself old and why?
When I turn 40 again. I love seeing  the rebirths of things such as leggings and mini skirts. Next is mullets.
