We are halfway through the month and if you are still wanting to join for 500 comments- go for it! Just use the 1000 comment image on your sidebar and leave me a comment letting me know you are going for the big 500.

Here is how it works….
I challenge you to make 1000 comments during the month of August. If you succeed at this task, I will have a very cool blog button award for you to show off 
1. Sign up here on the linky.
2. Place the Comment Challenge button on your sidebar (I check the blog of everyone who signs up. If I do not see the button, I will delete you. I just do not like spammers)
3. Start by commenting the other people going for the challenge.
4. When you hit 1000, come back here and let me know. I’ll post your name on this post which is a very cool thing!

Tips: Take advantage of memes such as Wordless Wednesday and Friday-Follow. Keep a tally on your side bar to keep track. People always ask me what the best method is of keeping track. If you know of a better one…please share it.

Meters and counters-
Everyone always asks how to keep track of the number of comments left. It comes down to good old fashion keeping tabs on it yourself. Some people do this by keeping a tally on their sidebar and updating it daily. Other people like to make their comment tracking pretty and fun.

Working on it, bout 100 comments behind; this really takes some effort. lol But, it is fun.
Little frustrated though, should someone who has comments closed be a part of this? We visit them because they’re on the linky, read and get ready to post comment and can’t. They get traffic; but….?
