It’s that time of year again. March Madness.
Everywhere I look I see brackets. The kind of bracket that basically makes it okay to ‘gamble’ while avoiding the some-times controversy about student athletes getting paid.
I have no opinion to state concerning either the athletes or the gambling.
I simply don’t care about the darn brackets.
Am I the only one who doesn’t care about the bracketmania?
I don’t care about college basketball (despite the fact that I live in a Big 12 town). I don’t get why all of a sudden non-sport fanatics are all of a sudden experts when it comes to brackets.
About the only thing I know about brackets is that it is March Madness that gives us hope. March Madness gives us hope that when it is all over, our amazing spring weather will prevail. After the madness ends, the horrendous winter weather that we have had to endure will finally be long gone. And, if March Madness is what will get us past the finish line of winter, I am all for it. I just won’t do the brackets.
