A dog backpack intrigues me.
Why can’t one of my larger canines be the one responsible for carrying the bags and treats? If Cesar says it’s okay to use, it is probably a good thing to consider. We are fans of Cesar. My dogs love to watch and Casar has an array of members in his pack, including pitty mixes and a schnauzer.
Cesar says: “Dogs love having jobs, and if they’re focused on walking and carrying, they are much less likely to chase squirrels or bicyclists. There’s nothing more therapeutic for a dog than having a job to do, and carrying a backpack is that job.”
Many dogs feel unfulfilled because they do not have “jobs.” A dog carrying a backpack is challenged physically and mentally, which will help keep her balanced and calm both at home and on the walk. But, what makes Cesar’s Dog Backpack different is the design. Most dog backpacks place too much weight over a dog’s lower back, forcing the spine to curve. Cesar Millan’s Dog Backpack is designed for the weight to be closer to the dog’s shoulders, where they are the strongest.
