Advertising, Giveaways and Promotions.

I am the managing editor of 2 sites.
Harrietandfriends and Posh on a Budget.

While I would love to try, promote and give away every product, it just isn’t humanly possible as I am obviously pretty busy with the above and getting my laundry done.

To sponsor a giveaway, here are some things you should know first:

• To have your product giveaway presented on Harriet and Friends or Posh on a Budget, I first need to test the product, or have my team test the product, to make sure it meets my standards. The product should be at least $30 in value to be on either site. We just don’t have the time to promote everything. Items submitted for review will not be returned to you and will not be paid for in any way by us.

• For Harrietandfriends, I prefer gift card equivalent promotions such as from restaurants and well-known establishments that appeal to a wide-range of people.

• To be considered for promotion on Posh on a Budget, the product should be relative to lifestyle. We also do simple product testing without the giveaway on Poshonabudget. My editor and I will (sometimes) do Youtube posted videos at times which promotes both you and us.
  

• We do not accept advertising links on either site besides those of Blogher sponsors or specific ad networks.

Do you want us to promote your product?

We have a team of reviewers ready to help with product testing!

Here is what we need from you:

• A sample of the product to be reviewed.
• Information on how the product will be delivered to the giveaway winner.
• Promotional information to be used in the review.

Here is what we will provide for you:

• A fair and honest review with detailed information on the testing of the product.
• In the review, we will promote your website, promotions for the product, social media and/or where your product may be purchased.
• We will promote the giveaway throughout the internet.
• Giveaways will last between 2-4 weeks depending on the value of the item.
• We will select giveaway winners through random number draws.
• We will then notify of the winner so that you may get the winning item delivered.
• We will review your family and/or career oriented product within 7 days of receiving it.
• We  reserve the right to refuse a product review if we feel the product does not fairly fit the needs of my intended reader.
• Please note: after the giveaway ends, the post will go private. This is for several reasons including, to preserve the privacy of those who have entered.
• We will not send you a link to the post unless you request one. Please check the sites if you are uncertain.
• We do not run every submitted item. Sending us your item for a review and or  giveaway does not insure that it will be used.

BlogHer 2011

Myself and my Editor for Posh on a Budget are both heading to San Diego for Blogher on August 5th and 6th.

We expect that the conference will cost us a little over $1200. for entrance, airfare, accommodation, meals and related incidentals.

The purpose of my sites is for entertainment and reading pleasure. I am not responsible for errors, false statements, offensive comments, bad information that has been provided to me, and failure of giveaway/ product/ advertising sponsors who cannot fulfill their obligation as promised. I am  not responsible to debt incurred such as sales tax and shipping.

To sum up this honesty and disclosure policy, I am not paid, nor will I be paid, to promote or to give information that may be misleading to my readers. If I do not like a product I review we I not promote it in any way on my sites. This site is not owned and is not in any kind of ownership with any outside companies.
